Ocean Zine

This was a short experimental project inspired by a visit to West Wittering beach, where I was shocked by the amount of litter washed up along the shoreline. Wanting to explore the contrast between handmade illustration and found materials, I collected some of the rubbish and used it to create a series of collages. The collages were then scanned and turned into a zine highlighting the impact that plastic waste and pollution have on our oceans and marine life. Through a mix of collage, illustration, and editorial design, the project aimed to raise awareness in an engaging and visually interesting way. Although it was a personal project, it's still one of my favourites and a piece I'm really proud of.
